Lois Jean Waldron, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, December 1, after a brief illness. Daughter of Elizabeth (Finnie) and Richard Jones, she was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She raised four children and worked as an assistant librarian and secretary, primarily in Lexington, Massachusetts, and she loved to travel and loved being outdoors. With her outgoing, friendly personality, she quickly made friends.
Wife of the late Philip Waldron, she is survived by her children Karen Masoner, Jeff Masoner, Glen Masoner (Kim), and Sarah Gardner (Chris), five grandchildren plus spouses, five great grandchildren, and her brother-in-law John Slechta. She was predeceased by her sisters, Judy Knox of New Jersey and Joyce Slechta of Virginia.
