Lowell "Doug" Douglas Mayo, 70, of Vanceboro passed away at home on Friday, October 21, 2022. Doug was born in Craven County, North Carolina on November 22, 1951 to the late Carol Mayo and Doris Hudson Mayo.
Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Pat, daughter, Jennifer Voliva and husband, Greg, son, Jason Mayo and wife, Jennifer, five grandchildren, Kirsten, Brittany, Hailey, Tanner and Brayden; one great grandson, Leo, brother, Mitch Mayo, and two half brothers, Hank and Dalton Henry. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by sister, Deborah Lynn Mayo.
A Lakeside Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 10:00 am at Greenleaf Memorial Park Cemetery, 900 River Rd. New Bern. He will be laid to rest following the service.
