He was a gregarious soul making friends where ever he went. People appreciated his generosity, smiles and enthusiasm for life. He is predeceased by his mother, Joan W. Blair.
Surviving is father, William Anthony Blair, Sr. of Oriental; brother, William A. Blair, Jr of New Bern; sisters, Vivian A. Blair of Oriental and Eleanor Brosius (Tom) of Centreville, VA.
