We were saddened to hear today of the death of Marcia Burton Hadley. She was an excellent student at Frostburg State, and I served as her advisor and intern supervisor. I also worked closely with her father, who was a professor and chair of the economics department. May God support her husband, brothers and community in dealing with this sad earthly loss and Heaven's gain. David and Beverly Fell

Marci, My life's love, my closest friend, my soul-mate...we are entering a bit of wintertime separation for a short season...but with great expectation and gladness we will see a glorious redeeming springtime...and I can wait to be with our Lord and Savior...with my 'Cakes' with her sparkling eyes and radiant smiles...Wait at the gate for me...

Marcia was the daughter of my good friends Bob and Sarah Burton.  The family was a special one whose friendship I treasured over the years.  Bob left us in 1997, Sarah in 2013 and now Marcia.  I know their reunion is a glorious one!  Bob and the entire family have my deepest sympathy!

Marci, I know you're where your journey has taken you. The Lord even your behalf after your passing.He is faithful.

We knew Marcia from her days at Tabernacle Baptist Church! She sang in the choir. She also attended our Monday Night Bible Study. It's nice to know that we Christians who pass away from this earth are "absent from the body, present with the Lord"!!!
