Margaret H. Norris

Born in Adams County, Pennsylvania, she lived for over 40 years in New Cumberland, PA where she graduated from High School. She attended Central Pennsylvania Business College and worked for United Telephone Company of Pennsylvania, the Civil Service Commission of PA and Cumberland County National Bank and Trust Company. She and her husband moved to Richmond, VA and Atkinson, New Hampshire before retiring to New Bern, NC where she resided for over 27 years.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Richard B. Norris and her son Dennis R. Norris. She is survived by her son Fr. Thomas P. Norris, O.S.F.S, of Goldsboro, NC and her Sister and Brother-in-laws, Mary Theresa and Robert Stachovic of Creol Springs, IL.

She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America. Margaret was a founding member of the New Carolinians of Trent Woods.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 19 at 1:00 pm at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, New Bern, NC, with her son Fr. Tom presiding. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church, Goldsboro, NC on Tuesday, September 20th at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St, Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, New Bern, NC or St. Mary Catholic Church, Goldsboro, NC.
