She was a strong, hard-working woman who loved her family and will be greatly missed by many. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Marian is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Taylor.
She is survived by her son, Tony Taylor of Trenton; two daughters, Teresa Breschini of Louisburg and Sharon Taylor of New Bern; three brothers, Frank Murphy of Trenton, Nick Murphy of New Bern, and Graham Murphy of Snow Hill; two sisters, Carol Arthur of Bayboro; Ramona Murphy of Baltimore, Md.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at noon, Friday, September 21, 2012, at the Taylor Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mrs. Taylor's home.
