Martha Keller

Martha Keller, 95, of New Bern, NC passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at CarolinaEast Medical Center. Born February 23, 1927, to Oren Earl Wolery and Garnett Marie Wanless, who both proceeded her in death in Portsmouth, Ohio.

On June 28, 1945, she married Raymond Walter Keller of Cincinnati, Ohio and celebrated 77 years of marriage this year.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Michael Wolery, John "Joe" Wolery, James "Buddy" Wolery, David Wolery, Nancy "Nan" Caseman, and Anna "Hoot" Christmas. Her family lovingly called Martha, "Barney."

Martha and Ray had 4 children, Michael Keller, Cynthia Keller (who passed away November 24, 1950), Wanda Kleber, and Randy Keller.

She was a devoted and wonderful wife and mother, and an amazing seamstress. She was a member of the Easter Star in Cincinnati, Ohio, and made all of the evening gowns for members during the years she served.
