She is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Henry W. Adkins, Sr.
and a brother, Joseph Milton Rackley.
Surviving are sons, Henry Wilson Adkins, Jr. (Marianna) of Oriental,
Samuel Ray Adkins (Dee) of Tarboro; Ellen Adkins Ruffin (Melvin) of
Carrollton, VA; brother, Robert Glendon Rackley of Stoneville, NC ;
sister, Dorothy Mae Odom of Boyington Beach, FL ; grandchildren, Lydia

Sullivan, Tina Jastrow, Hank Adkins, Lee Adkins, Lindsey Adkins; six great-
grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12 noon, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at
Brentwood Pentecostal Holiness Church in Tarboro. Visitation will be
one hour prior at the church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial in Tarboro.
