There is no way to describe the hurt of this loss. She was the best and most wonderful friend one could have. The last couple of year I worked side by side with her, many times I called her "Mama". It was a relationship with someone that is truly unexplainable. So many wonderful times we shared, shopping trips at Christmas time for Sheila and Hayley to the Gospel Sings we attended together. Such a wonderful woman and friend. Someone you could tell anything and she would never repeat it. Someone so trustworthy, loving and kind. I so miss her. She is forever scored on my Heart. With all the Love to her family. My prayers for comfort and strength go to each of you.

Where do I begin, a God-loving lady who I met when I was 12 thru her daughter who was my best friend. There are so many memories of horse shows, Elvis in your living room, playing the piano, taking trips, and the family occasions that I was always invited to. Every memory I have of you Mayona are great ones and will always be dear to my heart. You treated me like gold and always extended your kindness to my mama & sister. You came to every special occasion in my life until I moved away for 22 years... and then I still rec’d Christmas cards or periodically talked to you on the phone. For the last 44 yrs, we have laughed, cried, worried, and made it thru a lot of tough times too. You ALWAYS possessed a genuine kindness that is so hard to find in people this day in time. I will always cherish ALL of the special memories that have just come rushing back the past 2 days when I sat at your house with Sheila, Hayley and Mark looking thru pictures, talking about the good ole days, and reminiscing. My heart is broken but I know you are home with God in Heaven, free of pain, and at peace. I will remember you forever and think of you often. I miss you already. Love You 💞Dearly, Debbie
