She served her country in the United States Marine Corp; she was also a Jehovah’s Witnesses, and a member of Kingdom Hall in Havelock.
Melanie is survived by three children two sons Kyle Hoskins of Havelock, and Ryan Hoskins of Greenville; one daughter Maryann Hoskins of Havelock; father Coy Booth of Marion LA; brother Kurt Booth of Farmerville LA; two sisters Rhonda Booth Carpenter of Monroe LA; and Georgia Ann Booth of Marion LA; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday November 24, 2014 one hour prior to the service on Monday at 6 PM at Cotten Funeral Home. Interment at Coastal Carolina State Veteran Cemetery is to be scheduled.
