I remember here being the sweetest, and coolest Aunt ever.she would take me and her daughter,Nancy for rides around town( coming from the country that was quite a treat for me.) Even through I only got to see her once
a year at our reunion, she was alwayalways on my mind and LOVED. Will miss hearing her voice over the phone but know she will always be with me....Love,Your niece LILLA MAUDE

Aunt Nannie made the best biscuits I ever tasted, and I suspect that the secret of her recipe was the same secret which made her so beloved by her family and friends..... the love and compassion she put into every interaction with each person in her life. Truly kind and generous, she was also strong and positive and determined. And she was so much fun with a wicked sense of humor!
Nannie was my favorite Aunt . I loved her deeply and admired her greatly for all of my years on Earth. If anyone deserves a rich reward in Heaven, it is she. Although I can never be her match, I am so inspired by her and the way she led her life.
