Nina Mae Harris Laughinghouse, 83, of New Bern, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Tuesday, August 29th, 2017. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family meant everything to her and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is lovingly survived by her four children, Alice Jones (Richard) of Roy, Utah, Danny Earl Laughinghouse (Jennifer) of New Bern, Linda K. Ellis (Michael) of New Bern, and Cathy Lewis; six grandchildren, Ginger Jones, Jamie Ohl, Charity Overbeek, Kim Banks, Brent Jones, and Bradley Jones; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren. Sadly, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Gabriel Laughinghouse and Joey Jones.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday morning at the Vanceboro Cemetery with the Rev. Eddy Gabbert officiating.
