Mr Obie Lee Kirkman Sr.

Mr. Kirkman was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He served in the US Navy. He was retired from E. I. Dupont & Co. after 29 years and retired farmer.

Obie is preceded in death by his wife, Jane DeBruhl Kirkman. He is survived by his son, Obie Lee Kirkman, Jr, his daughter Leela Kirkman Baggett & husband Bob. He is also survived by four grandchildren Betsy Joll & husband Sean, John Baggett, Grace Kirkman, and Isaac Kirkman and one great-grand child Graham Joll.

Family will receive friends at Bethany Christian Church of Jasper Sunday, July 10 at 6-8pm. Funeral will be at 11 am on Monday, July 11 at Bethany Christian Church of Jasper. Burial will be private at the Kirkman Farm Cemetery. Cotten Funeral Home is assisting the Kirkman family with arrangements.
