He is survived by his wife of 62 years Chris Albers; one niece and one nephew.
He was a WWII Army Veteran where he served in the Luzon, Phillipines and after the war ended up in Japan. He was also a member of First Presbyterian Church for many years, retired from Grumman Aviation, a resident of the Fairfield Harbour Community for 30 years, volunteered for 18 years for Tri- Community Volunteer Fire Department Station 13 and Habitat for Humanity for 6 years. He also was a private pilot and loved boating.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, October 28 at First Presbyterian Church.
