Paul Lewis Banks Jr.

He was a member of Broad Street Christian Church and a US Army veteran of WWII.

He is predeceased by a son Stephen Brown Banks; brother, Carlton Bryan Banks; grandsons, David Peterson and Jeffery Dwain Banks.

Surviving is his wife, Rowena Brown Banks; son, Dexter Allen Banks and daughter in law Cyndi of Ayden; daughter, Paula Kramer of New Bern; daughter in law, Theresa Banks Riggs of Grantsboro; brothers, Jessie Hill Banks of New Bern, Franklin Delano Banks of Morehead City, Joseph Latham Banks of New Bern; sisters, Susan Elizabeth Jones of New Jersey, Hattie Ruth Moore of Morehead City; grandchildren, Paul Peterson, Corey Peterson, Stephen Banks, Daniel Banks, Corey Peterson (Brittany), Jennifer Seals; great grandchildren, Josephine Pearl Banks, Elijah Peterson, Mary-Alyson Peterson, Tyler Glenn Seals, Alexys Ann Seals.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Broad Street Christian Church. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:30pm at Cotten Funeral Home.
