Pauline Adele Porter

Pauline Adele Lightfoot Porter of New Bern, North Carolina, formerly of Mahopac, New York, died peacefully on November 28, 2015 at the age of 83. She was born in Patterson, New Jersey to the late Frank and Josephine Lightfoot.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her children, daughters Elizabeth D'Alessandro of New Bern and Leslie Friscia of Torrington, Connecticut and sons Thomas Porter of Los Angeles, California, Robert Porter of Sun City, Arizona and Richard Porter of Jacksonville, Florida as well as many grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Josephine Danziger of New Bern.

At an early age Mrs. Porter moved to Brooklyn New York where she eventually met and married Robert Porter in 1956. They were married for nearly fifty years until Mr. Porter's death in 2006.

Mrs. Porter was a graduate of Saint Francis Xavier High School in Brooklyn, New York and long cherished her memories of living in Brooklyn.

For many years Mrs. Porter worked in the customer-service department of a national magazine in New York.

She was an ardent congregate of St. Paul Catholic Church in New Bern.

A Christian Burial Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church on Thursday, December 03, 2015 at 1:00 pm.

A burial at Laurel Hill Memorial Park in Virginia will be at a date and time to be determined.
