Peter A. Malitzis

Pete spent his early childhood in Greece and then moved to New York with is family when he was young. He took New York by the horns. I was in New York where he met his wife, Celeste, the love of his life, and together they created a successful life together. At retirement Pete relocated to New Bern, North Carolina with his wife Celeste.

Pete was fearless and DETERMINED and always achieved what he set his mind to do. He loved enjoying good food with family and friends. He loved traveling, CARS, and the finer things in life. He loved work and keeping busy.

Peter's exterior was hard but he was a caring and generous person at his core. He was loyal when he befriended someone they could always rely on Peter for anything.

He is survived by his only child, Andrew Malitzis of Miami Florida.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cotten Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at noon in the chapel. He will be laid to rest with his wife following the service at Greenleaf Memorial Park Cemetery, 900 River Road, New Bern, North Carolina 28562.
