Raychel Lee Foss

Left to cherish her memory are her mother Elizabeth Wood and brother Charlie Ray Wood of New Bern, NC and her father David Foss of Goldsboro, NC. Raychel is also survived by Linda and Linwood Slaughter (maternal grandparents) of New Bern, NC; Robert Wilson (step grandfather) of Goldsboro, NC, Amanda and David Whitford (maternal Aunt and Uncle) Shawn, Jackson and Tysor McVey of Vanceboro, Victor Ball (maternal great uncle) of New Bern, NC and Robin Ball of Raleigh, NC; Matthew Foss of Goldsboro; Amanda and Chelsea Foss of Roseboro, NC; Chester and Judy Foss of Grantham, NC; Kaily Foss and Alaina Taylor of Goldsboro; Brandon, Amber and Lila Foss of Grantham; Brandon Wilson, Ariana Crews and Thatcher of Arkansas; Kecia, Charles and Liz Applebaum (Step Aunt and Uncle) of Smithfield, NC; Andy and Nikki Slaughter (Step Uncle and Aunt) of Salemburg, NC; paternal great grandfather, Ray R. We believe God needed a special angel, so he chose the very best, Raychel Lee Foss. She was met in Heaven with open arms by Ray R. Wood, Jr. (maternal grandfather) of New Bern, NC, “Granny” Cynthia Freeman (maternal great-grandmother) of Bridgeton; Charlie and Mae Bell Freeman (maternal great-grandparents); Edna W. Swain (paternal great-grandmother); Teresa “Teri” Lee Ball Armstrong (Great Aunt) of Bridgeton; Robert V. Ball, Sr. (material great-grandfather) of Mississippi; Lisa Myers Wilson (paternal grandmother) of Goldsboro, NC and David and Carolyn Myers (great grandparents) of Mount Olive, NC.

We envision Raychel cradled in the arms of Jesus or bouncing on Granny’s knee while she sings to her or playing with other little children, and praising the Lord. She is happy and healthy again. Our loss, is Heaven’s gain. Our hearts are shattered. We miss you, love you and you will be forever in our hearts, Raychel Lee. Until we meet again, sweet angel, rest in Heavenly peace.
