Becky enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved living on the river and spending her sunsets hand-in-hand with her husband Chip. When she wasn’t enjoying the water, you could find her gardening or in the flower beds. She loved to cook and spend time with her family.
Becky’s career started out as a skilled cosmetologist. She went on to spend over 25 years teaching at St. Paul Education Center where she cultivated many friendships, both young and old. She was not only an educator, but a mentor to many.
Becky was caring, giving, and compassionate. She could make a good time out of nothing. Always up for adventure and fun, she blessed everyone around her with happiness. The strongest person you will ever meet, Becky was a fighter and warrior of God.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, George “Chip” Heath; daughter, Nikki Mallard and husband David Mallard Jr, granddaughter Madison and grandson Davey; sister, Barbara Watson and husband Albert Watson.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to sister-in-law, Helen White, for the hospitality, generosity, and kindness over the last few months.
A Celebration of Becky's Life will be held at a later date. The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Craven County Hospice. Cotten Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to serve the family of Becky Heath.
