

Born and raised in Missouri, Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, generosity, and a willingness to help others. He had a passion for woodworking and fishing and was happiest when spending time outdoors or working with his hands. Known as the family's "go-to" person, Richard could always be counted on to lend a hand with a project, solve a problem, or offer support whenever it was needed.
Richard was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Barker; his parents, Marvin and Pauline Barker; his brothers, Marvin "Bus", Bill, Paul, and Joe ; and his sisters, Bernadine "Sis", Betty , Mary, and June.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Doheny and her husband, Will; his son, Rick Barker and his wife, Sarah; and his four grandchildren, Josh Denton, Justin Denton, Morgan Barker, and Jimmy Barker.
Richard's kindness, craftsmanship, and unwavering dedication to his family will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished and the many lives he touched through his generosity and helping spirit.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
