Richard was a great teacher and was loved by many of his students. Richard had an amazing bass voice and loved to sing. He was a voracious reader and had a thirst for knowledge.
He is survived by his son, Bert Kidd and wife, Jean; grandchildren, David, Jamison, and Scott; and great-grandchildren, Joshua and Evie.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Carol Kidd; parents, Herbert and Cecilia Kidd; and two brothers and two sisters.
