Robert Pritchett Bridges Jr. passed away on May 19, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on April 26, 1950, Bob was born and raised in Alabama, where he spent his early years, and later made his home in New Bern, North Carolina.
He enjoyed a long and successful career at Weyerhaeuser. Bob loved the outdoors, had a deep affection for dogs, and enjoyed trips to the beach. In earlier years, he could often be found out on his motorcycle, a pastime he carried well into his later life.
He is survived by his sons, Taylor Bridges and Brooks Bridges, and his grandchildren, Caroline Bridges and Jackson Bridges, and his sister, Bertha Davis.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
