Leaving behind to honor and cherish Robert's life and legacy are his loving wife of 53 years, Sudie Lee Hardison; children: Dana Duke with her son, Jordan; and Amber (Jon) Youngblood, with their children, Sean, Lilly, Brilee, Jack, and Luke; and many loving family members and close friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Hardison and William Lee Hardison.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Cotten Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Berean Community Church. Following the service, Robert will be laid to rest at Croatan Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Berean Community Church.
