He was retired from the United States Air Force and Hatteras Yachts. Dan was enthusiastic about the water, the beach and his Harley Davidson. Dan was a true family man.
He is survived by his wife Donna Walker; two sons Michael Walker of Sumter, SC and Tom Walker of New Bern, NC; one daughter Glynda Stenger of Wichita, KS; two brothers Greg Walker of Orlando, FL and George Walker of Texas; eight grandchildren Michael, Candace, Aaron, Terry, Mattison, Dalton, Mia and Rocco; and one great-grandchild Ariana.
Funeral service will be 7:30 pm Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brooks Community Health, 3599 University Boulevard South, Jacksonville, FL 32216.
