Roger Carol White

Roger Carol White, 86, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026. Roger was a devoted man of faith who deeply loved God, his family, and his many cherished friends. He was a loving husband and a man who found joy in woodworking and spending time with those he loved.

Roger was also a proud longtime business owner in the Cove City community. For approximately 30 years, he owned and operated White’s Meat Market, where he became well known and respected by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Matthew and Trecy McCoy White; his second wife, Eloise McCoy White; his sister, Ruth White; and Kay Hawkins.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Treacy White; his brother, Troy White and wife, Alice; three stepdaughters, Patricia Sutley, Debra Kilpatrick Coward, and Becky Brinson; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish his memory. Along with his dedicated caregiver, who became part of the family, Katina Doye.

Funeral services will be held at Cotten Funeral Home on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 3 pm. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm prior to the service time. Burial will follow at Cove City Cemetery.

Roger will be remembered for his love of God, devotion to his family, kindness to his friends, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of those who knew and loved him. His memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
