Ronald Cleveland Browder

Ronald Cleveland Browder, 80, of New Bern, North Carolina, formerly of Washington, Illinois passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023. Ronald was born in Johnston City, Illinois on April 2, 1942 to the late William and Gertrude Stocks Browder.

Ronald was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing pool. Ronald and Linda were married in October of 1963 in Illinois. Ron retired from Caterpillar after 30 years of faithful service to his community in the parts distribution department. Ronald was a retired member of Local 974 and a current member of the Knights of Columbus. His "papa eyes" and laugh will be missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 59 years Linda, two daughters, Angie Vericker and her husband Dave and Dawn Browder and her fiancé Glenn Morris, grandchildren, Shanan Maurer and her husband Ty, Dylan Vericker and Savanna Crider, great grandchildren, Jaxson and Maleia, furry friend BB, and two sisters Jerry Covington and Melissa Forcum and her husband Dallas.

A Celebration of Ronald's life will take place at a later date. Cotten Funeral Home is honored to serve the family and friends of Ronald Browder.
