Ronnie graduated from New Bern Senior High School, spent 4 years in the Coast Guard. He retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad. When he was younger and able, he worked nights with the Railroad, came home, slept till 11 a.m., on the golf course at 12 p.m., 5 days a week. He did this for years, until he got hurt on the train. Then came fishing, he was always going and doing. He loved his family, friends. He played daily with his little Monsters as he called them. They would chase a ball up and down the hallway, over, and over, and over. He was the center of our family, will be missed forever.
Ronnie leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Kay Arthur Bullard and daughters, Lisa B. Mayo, (Roger), of New Bern, N.C. and Laurie B. Alejo, (Celso), of Wake Forest, N. C. He is also survived by his 4-legged children, Otto and Rosie; sister Sharon B. Askew; and brother Richard Bullard, both of Connecticut.
The family will receive visitors from 6:00-7:30 pm on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Cotten Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ronnie’s honor to the Colonial Capital Humane Society.
