Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Cotten Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, May 14, 2015 the Lakeside Chapel, Greenleaf Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie R. Hawkins; one son, Ronald Bruce Hawkins, Jr. of New Bern; one daughter, Talya Maas of New Bern; five brothers, Cricket Hawkins, of Cove City; Donald Hawkins of Snow Hill; Douglas Hawkins of LaGrange; Durwood Hawkins and Herman Hawkins of Dover; two sisters, Wanda Fay Mallard of Trenton; Mary Parker of Kinston; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
