Sadie Hacker Bradley

Sadie Hacker Bradley, age 63, of New Bern, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Sadie was a loving, caring wife and mother who always put family first. She was a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren. Sadie never met a stranger. Her words were kind and gracious, never speaking a harsh word about anyone. The warm embrace of her hugs and the words "I love you" being spoken from her heart will forever be remembered. She loved the Lord and faithfully served Him.

Sadie's life was a reflection of the virtuous woman spoken of in God's Word ... "Her children arise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised." (Proverbs 31:28-30)

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hurshell and Mary Emma Hacker and her brother, Rev. Billy Hacker.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Brian Bradley, Sr.; children, Connie Roberts (Chris) and Brian Bradley, Jr. (Felicia); grandchildren, Katie Roberts, Jason Roberts, MacKenzie Bailey, and Jaxon Bailey; brothers, Hurshell Hacker, Jr., Lash Hacker, Bobby Hacker, Willie Hacker; and sisters, Marie Favreau and Lillie Delph.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Vanceboro Free Will Holiness Church, followed by the service at 7:30 p.m. with Brother Tony Edwards officiating. She will be laid to rest at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Bradley Homeplace Cemetery (2798 Olympia Road, New Bern).
