Samuel Clark IV, age 49, passed away on June 21, 2026. He was born on April 8, 1977. His hometown in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Samuel will be remembered with deep respect for the steady way he met life’s responsibilities and the care he showed for those who depended on him.
In his working life, Samuel built his days around honest effort and perseverance. He was a truck driver who took pride in the road and in the work it required, and he carried that same determination into owning his own trucking company. Buying his own truck was more than a milestone—it reflected a man committed to providing through his own hands and decisions, and to building something lasting through diligence and resolve.
Samuel’s greatest devotion was to his family. He is survived by his wife, Sheena Clark; his son, McCoy Clark; and his daughters, McKinley Clark and McKenna Clark. He held fatherhood with quiet pride, and his love for his children stood as a defining part of who he was. He is also survived by his siblings, Angela Pates, Bennett Clark, and Christina Class; and by his parents, Samuel Clark III and Antoinette Glass.
Outside of work, Samuel found satisfaction in the steady, practical joys of home and hands-on projects. As a homeowner, he valued the work of building and maintaining a life rooted in care and responsibility. He enjoyed working on cars, bringing patience and focus to each task, and he took pleasure in gardening—nurturing growth with the same consistency that marked so much of his life.
Samuel Clark IV will be remembered for the strength of his work ethic, the pride he carried in providing, and the enduring love he held for his family.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on July 10, 2026 at Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, 704 N Front St, Steelton, PA 17113.
Cotten Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to serve the Clark family.
