Sarah Ann Andrews Whitford

Sarah Ann Andrews Whitford 51, of Bridgeton died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband Chief Petty Officer William Clyde Whitford, her father, Johnny Ray Andrews and two brothers, William Ray Andrews, & John Charles (Charlie) Andrews.

She is survived by her son, Jonathan Andrew Whitford of Bridgeton; her mother, Sarah Frances Andrews of Bridgeton; her brother, Ronnie Lee Andrews & wife, Sue Andrews of Vanceboro and her maternal grandmother, Sallie Avery of Grifton. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, and everyone that met her.

She was a member of Saints Delight OFWB Church. Where she taught children’s church at Saints Delight OFWB Church. She was a CNA at Craven Regional Medical Center and Guardian Care of New Bern.

Services will be held Thursday September 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Rackley and Rev. Tim Heath officating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Cotten Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Greenleaf Memorial Park following the service.
