She was a member of Bridgeton United Methodist Church and she enjoyed crafts and dancing.
She is survived by her husband Joey, two sons, Kevin Lane of Raleigh; Ronald Freeman of Charlotte; three daughters, Dawn Freeman, Ann Register and Lisa Scott, all of New Bern; two sisters, Susan Harrell and Katy Register of New Bern; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Bridgeton United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Motley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
