“DC” was an electrician by trade. He enjoyed yardwork, visiting flea malls, fishing, and good food. He was also a mason.
He is preceded in death by his parents Luther and Mildred Cox and sister Sharon Mills.
He is survived by two daughters Darlene Locklear and Judy Brown (Ray); son Jimmy Cox; sister Lena Ipock; brother Bibby Cox; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will hold a service at Cotten Funeral Home on Friday, December 9 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Wintergreen Cemetery in Cove City.
