Thomas J. Davis, 84, died June 29, 2016 at his home. He was born November 29, 1931 to Lloyd J. Davis and Marian Mae Quade Davis in Washington, DC. He was a Navy veteran and retired from FRC East from the Plant Engineering Division in 1989.
He is survived by his wife Johanna M. Davis; son Thomas J. Davis, Jr. and wife, Dr. Cheryl A. Davis; daughter Toni Ann Grimsey and husband Charles N. Grimsey, Sr.; grandchildren Charles N. Grimsey, Jr., Capt. Scott M. Grimsey and wife Ashley, Delain H. Davis and Holden T. Davis.
The funeral mass will be 11 am Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church atrium.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Home Health and Hospice, 1423 S. Glenburnie Road, New Bern, NC 28562.
