Tommy B. Hunter

Tommy served 36 years at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. The Cadet Store was later named in his honor "Tommy B. Hunter Cadet Store" upon his retirement in 2002.

Leaving behind to honor his legacy and memories are his loving wife of 64 years, Thelma Hunter; sons, Michael "Mickey" Wayne Hunter, Ronald Keith Hunter (Tammy), and John Steven Hunter (Tina); grandchildren, Justin Hunter, Michael Hunter, Zachary Hunter, Emily Hunter, Kelsey Bennett (Thomas), and MacKenzie Hunter; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Emma, Stark, Reed, Jacie, and Zoe; brothers, Carlton Hunter and William Hunter; and many loving family members and close friends.

A celebration of Tommy's life will be held at 5:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Cotten Funeral Home. Following the service, the family will receive visitors.
