He is survived by his wife of 65 years, D' (Dolores) Stone; two daughters, Susan Hand and husband Ed and Brenda Stone.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 14th, 2018 at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends just prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council 3303, PO Box 13903, New Bern, NC 28562.
