I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss and I know she will be greatly missed. I worked with Vida at the Sun-Journal when she drove a motor route. My husband and I knew Mr. Coye and Miss Mary and considered them our dear friends. I will never forget Ham's Hoover Flag, either. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers, Linda H. Jones.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Miss Vida. I remember her when I worked at PHARMACY PLUS. She was a very sweet lady. One day my husband and I were out by your house looking for someones house. And made a wrong turn and had to turn around in your driveway. Miss Vida came outside with a concerned look on her face. Then one day my mom and I were in Wal-Mart and saw MIss Vida and I told her I was sorry we had to turn around in her yard, and she said OH HONEY IT WAS ALRIGHT, said you should have stopped to say hi. She said we have to be safe with people turning around in the drive with living up a dirt road. And then she gave me her shining smile and said come back and see us sometime. I wish I had now. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

She always had a shining smile. Again my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
