He is survived by his mother, Doris Arnold of New Bern; one son, William Elijah “Billy” Arnold, Jr., one daughter, Linda Arnold of Tennessee; two brothers, Johnny Arnold and David Arnold, both of New Bern; two sisters, Mary Phifer of New Bern; Ann Williams of Pamlico County; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
