William T Carolin

Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eileen, and children Joseph (Amy Heisel) of Cincinnati, Jeanne Ristad (John) of Tampa, Florida, and David (Pam Colon) of New York City. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Andrew and Kelsey Ristad, and Maureen and Larry Carolin.

Bill was born on April 20, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York and was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Helen Carolin, and siblings Florence McGlenn, Raymond Carolin, and Doris Hardardt.

Bill served as a Sergeant in the USMC during the Korean Conflict. He also worked for IBM for 34 years. Bill was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Bill also was a dedicated volunteer at Carolina East Medical Center.

Bill was a caring friend and neighbor to many and offered help to all those that needed it. A Funeral mass is scheduled for Monday, December 19th at 1pm at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, with a reception following in the Church Atrium. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fragile X Family Alliance, 5592 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.
