I remember Rev. Roberts when he was pastor at Beaver Creek Christian Church near Hagerstown, Maryland with fond memories. I am very sorry for the loss his family is having to endure.

What a wonderful life!  I so enjoyed looking at all of the pictures!  Mr. Roberts (as I have called him for over 35 years) was a wonderful man, full of happiness and optimism. There is only one aspect of his life that isn't pictured which was fun for both him and Ms. Roberts... RVing!! :)

We extend our sincere condolences to Preacher Roberts' family.  We were fortunate to have enjoyed having him and Mrs. Roberts at First Christian Church, Elizabeth City, for many years.  He was a true Christian who was well versed in God's Word and enthusiastically preached God's messages from his heart.

I'm sending you hugs Robbie.  You, Debbie and all of your family are in my heart.

                     So sorry to hear of the passing of your dear father,father-in-law, grandfather, great grand father, brother, whatever he was to you all. Reverend Bill  was a model of ministry and modesty. He never sought any vain-glory for himself, but was always a steady and sure witness for Christ.  He was always pointing away from himself, like a good "bird-dog." And, he "held" his "point"  until he made you, too, want to look--for God's love in our troubled world--for hope, peace, and joy.  And, in a world of climbers, the ambitious, and the identity-obsessed, Reverend Bill knew who he was--and whose he was.  Christ owned him.  And he knew it was in the toss and tumble of the local congregation where Christian discipleship would happen.   I first met him through a mutual friend, Rev. Mike Scott, in the early 1970s.  And I saw the fruit of his work even after all these years, this summer at Lanie's Chapel.  I will miss Bill's kind.  I will  miss his spirit.  But,  I rejoice that he is now with the saints in the Church Triumphant.  

 May God give you a peace that only comes from Him during this time of loss. Rev Roberts was and still is a great inspiration to all who came in contact with him. He was a great ambassador for The Lord. Truly a man of God. He did so much for our family in the good times as well in the bad while at Lanies Chapel. His foot prints will be hard to fill yet the path he left to follow will be easier to follow because of those foot prints which leads us towards eternity with God and his Son Jesus Christ.

At a time like this words can't express the feelings and emotions I feel for each family member. I will always remember the young minister William E Roberts and wife Barbara along with Bobbi, Robbie and Phyllis who came to the Beaver Creek Christian Church, Hagerstown, Maryland.  He gave us so much and asked for so little. My condolences to each of the family members.

Ms Barbara & family:  I send my deepest prayers & thoughest to all of you during this time.  However, I can only smile when I think of him in Heaven and the conversation he must be having with the Lord at this very moment.  I began my true walk of faith when he was our Pastor at Unity and for that I am truly grateful and wish to thank all of you for sharing him with us.  I am a much better person because of his influence in my life.
