Going to miss seeing Zoot at Moore's BBQ. He used to tell me stories of my family and my grandmother that died before I was born. I loved to hear all the things he remembered about New Bern from years ago. He was blessed to be able to continue a full life until the end. Miss you, Zoot.

Zoot, Jr. & Family - I am very saddened by this news of Zoot's death and I send warm healing wishes to your family. May God bless all of you with courage and strength to endure this time of immense sadness. I pray that your memories of Zoot and the remembrances of all whose lives he touched, will help to bring you comfort. I'm so sorry - you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I first met Zoot at the Fairfield Harbour - Pepsi Pro Am golf tournament many years ago (when I first started working for Pepsi-Cola). He kept us all entertained and made us laugh throughout the entire time! I looked forward to that golf tournament each year - just to see Zoot. I have a lot of fond memories to last me for a life time. He will be missed by a lot of people!
