

Angelita Robles Guerrero went to the Lord on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 77 years. She was born on October 2, 1934, in Gonzales, Texas to Tomas and Louisa Robles who were migrant farm workers.
She was a devoted mother of 10 children, 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren in whom she planted the seeds of her life and inspired them by her hard work, generous spirit and her solicitous motherly love. Angelita was well known and respected by many families in New Braunfels for her work in their homes and with their families. She enjoyed a rich social life with many friends at bingos and frequent trips to Louisiana. She thoroughly enjoyed lengthy conversations with family and friends concerning “who belonged to which family” in New Braunfels. She was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where she enjoyed attending Sunday Mass and participating in church activities.
Her sons and daughters are: the late Joe Guerrero and wife Janie; Sylvia Vela and her late husband Robert of New Braunfels; Santiago Guerrero and wife Grace of New Braunfels; Albino Guerrero Jr. and late wife Christina of New Braunfels; Angelita G. Flavin and husband John of New Braunfels; Gloria Reyes and husband Evaristo of Kyle, Texas; Tomas Guerrero and wife Cynthia of San Antonio, Texas; Victor Guerrero and wife Rita of New Braunfels; Lucy Rosales and husband Rey of New Braunfels; and David Guerrero of New Braunfels.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Christian Martinez and husband Jesus, of Abilene, Texas. She is also survived by her brothers, Martin Robles of New Braunfels; Richard Robles of Houston, Texas; Manual Robles of Seguin, Texas and sister Irene Camareno of New Braunfels and Rudy Castro of New Braunfels. She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Husband Alvino Guerrero, Sr., 2001.

Public visitation will begin 5:00 PM Thursday, at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Reverend Camillo Botello, MSF - Celebrant. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
