Annie E. Hays

Galveston/New Braunfels resident Annie E Hays entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 13, 2013 in Galveston, Texas.

Funeral services are at 2:00pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Zoeller Funeral Home in New Braunfels. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.

Born January 28, 1928 in El Campo, Texas, Annie started her married life in Galveston when she married her beloved husband of 66 years, Herb Hays.

Annie and Herb retired to New Braunfels in 1976. They loved their time here. They were embraced by wonderful and caring neighbors as family. They had many happy years, good friends and good times here.

Annie was a caring and kind mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, nature, her cats, bowling and bunko. There was no child in the family that did not get welcomed by her handmade blankets.

She was preceded in death by her husband, by only 12 days. God granted her the wish to be united with him forever.

Annie was also preceded in death by her son, Raymond and great Granddaughter, Alexandra.

Survivors include Patsy Hays and David Carner, daughter and son in law, granddaughters Mindy Rivera and Kendra Hays, grandson Ash and wife Rebecca, great grandchildren: Harlee, Jacob, Eric, Aliya, Aiden, Emerson, Haylee and Rolando.
