Ashley Nicole Armstrong

Ashley Nicole Armstrong, age 44, passed away from Stage 4 Colon Cancer peacefully on Sunday, May 31st 2026. She was at home, surrounded by family, as she drew her last breath. She was born September 28th 1981, in Longview Texas, to Gary Curtis Daily and Leisha LaRoux Merrill. Graduate of Judson High School in 2000. She married George Armstrong on January 12th 2002, in San Antonio. Marking her greatest achievement in life, she became a mother on June 27th 2009 to twins Katelynn Olivia Armstrong and Madison Rose Armstrong. Ashley was full of beauty inside and out, passionate, tough, strong and fierce woman to be reckoned with. Everyone can agree she was the kindest, loving, caring soul the world has ever seen. She fought for people she barely knew, was kind to strangers and defended those who had a hard time defending themselves. Head strong, heart of gold and a raw exposed nerve at the same time. She was truly one of a kind.

She is survived by her husband, George; Daughters Katelynn and Madison; Mother, Leisha LaRoux Merrill and Father, Gary Daily; Fur Babies, Lucky and Trixie; Brother, Jacob; Sister, Amber; nephews and cousins.

Family, friends and all others whom Ashley touched are invited to the memorial service at Zoeller Funeral Home on June 20, 2026 at 11:00 am.

This will be a time to reminisce, grieve, support each other and just chat.
