Barbara L. Weed

Barbara L. Weed went to be with the lord on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the age of 76. She was born in San Antonio, TX on March 29, 1939 to Rowley and Julia C. Holliday. On November 10, 1956 she married the love her life, Nathan B. Weed Jr. in Lovington, New Mexico.

Barbara loved to do crossword puzzles, bake, watch birds and most of all spend time with her husband and family. She was a natural caregiver and homemaker. She put her heart and soul into it. She also enjoyed sewing and putting puzzles together. She will be missed by all her who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rowley Holliday and Julia C. Holliday; and son, David A. Weed;

Barbara is survived by her husband of 59 years, Nathan B. Weed Jr. ; daughters, Brenda G. (Weed) Wharton, and Cynthia A. (Allen) Zaferio; grandchildren, Stacey, Whitney, Rachel, Thomas, Traci, and John; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Holliday; sisters, Margaret S. (Holliday) Molter and Donna C. (Kaufman) Fluitt.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Zoeller Funeral Home from 6:00-9:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Zoeller Funeral Home at 11:00am. There will be a graveside service at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Cranes Mill Cemetery in Canyon Lake, TX.
