Betty Joyce Glenewinkel

She was born to Gilbert Helmke and Valeska Bulgerin Helmke, on April 12, 1943 in Seguin, Texas. She is Survived by son, Keith Redburn, daughter, Brenda Riddle and son, Otto Glenewinkel and wife Shelley; grandchildren, Curtis Lepp, Lindsey Holmbeck, Elyse Redburn, and William Rhett Anderson; great-grandchildren, Chase Lee Hombeck and Brody Lee Holmbeck; sister, Shirley Allen and husband Sammy; nephew and caregiver for the last 2 years, Tim Helmke. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorothy and seven brothers, Gilbert, Elroy, Donald, Larry, Chester, Jerry, and Lester; close friend and companion B.C. Smith.

A public viewing & visitation for Betty will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St., New Braunfels, TX 78130. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home. Interment will Follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
