Beverly Holsapple Gwyn, 89, of New Braunfels, Texas, joined her loving husband in Heaven on August 22, 2026. She was born on August 22, 1937, in Shelbyville, Illinois to Cecil and Mildred (Marie) Holsapple. Beverly graduated from Memphis State University and taught Special Education in both Memphis City Schools and Northwest San Antonio ISD. Beverly attended Cross Lutheran Church, where she served on the Church School Board of Education and worked with the Lutheran Braille workers. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) Gwyn. She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Glen) and her son David, and two granddaughters. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cross Lutheran Church 10:00 am Friday, September 25, 2026. A private committal service will be held in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
