Brian Edward Kotarski

Brian Kotarski, born July 14, 1959, a native of Three Lakes, WI, died suddenly from a medical emergency on January 15, 2020, while on the road doing what he loved, driving a semi. Brian was the son of John and Ginny Kotarski, longtime members of the Three Lakes community until their tragic death in 1973 when Brian was 13. Brian is survived by his children, Brian Jr. (Christina), John (Ashley), Joshua (Lindsey), Brady, Mickenzy (Taylor) Simpson, his wife Michelle (Kordula) Kotarski and 5 grandchildren Roper, Stetson, Aden, Adelaide & Emeline. He is also survived by siblings Bill (Marlene) Kotarski of De Pere, WI, Beth (Craig) Moore of Eagle River, WI and Bruce (Nancy) Kotarski of Sugar Camp, WI. Brian will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins and many other family and friends.

Brian was a proud and loving father and grandfather. He was an active and well-respected member in his home community of Brock, Texas where he lived for over 25 years. He has received many tributes to his generous and giving nature from many of his hometown residents. He was a volunteer firefighter and would offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Brian was a trucker all his life and dreamed of having a trucking business with his sons, which he achieved through Kotarski and Sons Trucking, LLC. With over 42 years of driving, Brian never had an accident while behind the wheel. He was a marvelous role model for his kids, as well as other kids in the community. Brian enjoyed his visits back to Three Lakes and would try to talk to everyone in town while there.

Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Virginia, a brother, Robert and other extended family members.

Brian's absence will be felt by many. We will remember the love we had for Brian and his love will remain in the hearts of everyone he touched. We are at peace in knowing he has been reunited with his parents, his brother and many who have gone before him. A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, February 15 at the Brock Fire Hall at 3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
