Carmen Carrizales

Carmen Rodriquez Carrizales died at the age of 92 on April 4, 2016, in New Braunfels TX. She was the daughter of Cayetano V. Rodriquez and Ysabel Riojas Rodriquez and was born in Martindale, TX, on July 16, 1923. Carmen Married Raul Serrato Carrizales on July 1, 1950 in Austin TX.

Carmen is preceded in death by her husband, two baby daughters, Rosemary and Juanita; sisters, Margarita R. Quintero, Catarina R. Ramirez, Felipa R. Ponce, and Natalia Rodriquez; brothers, Paulito and Gregorio Rodriquez; son-in-law, Domingo F. Herrera, Sr. She is survived by her sons, Raul S. Carrizales, his wife, Andrea, Ysidro S. Carrizales, Sr. , his wife, Maria; daughters, Ana Lopez, her husband, Juan, and Gloria C. Herrera; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, 3 step great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Family would like to thank the staff of Bluebonnet Hospice, Legend Oaks Nursing Home, the med team, and Mrs. Ines Campbell.

Public visitation will begin Monday at 5:00 PM at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Holy Family Church with burial to follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or to Holy Family Catholic Church. Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
