We are all so saddened at the loss of Carrie. She was a very special person loved by all of us. She raised two wonderful children who will continue to carry her legacy to their families. We were the ones blessed by knowing and loving Carrie.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

I loved her laugh and her humor and her common sense. I admired her teaching skills and love for her students. I learned a great deal from her as my mentor, and she was a wonderful math teacher to my two oldest children. I will miss her and I do wish that I had seen her more since we both left St. Pius. May God's infinite blessings and His comfort remain with her family and friends and everyone whose lives she touched. She was very special to us all.

Carrie will be missed by so many people...She always had a smile for everyone she met, even if things were not going so great in her own life. She and I shared a lot with each other as we went through trying times in our lives, and I will miss her so very much. I had just had a long phone conversation with her about 3 weeks ago and we promised to meet soon and catch up...Carrie,Brian, and loved ones, my heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad time.
